Augmented, Virtual and Natural Interfaces are the key focus of a part of the IPTC. Core and supporting technologies include localization, multimedia, speech, gesture and biometric recognition, 3-D reconstruction, advanced graphics and visualization, sound processing, holographics, etc. Combined with other smart spaces technologies (such as actuators, lighting, personalization or smart objects) one of the basic objectives of the activity is to provide enriched experiences to the user. Application fields range from accessibility to leisure and from design to rehabilitation.
