The IPTC is aligned with the objectives of the EC initiative of Digitising European Industry (the manufacturing sector in the EU accounts for 2 million enterprises and 60% of productivity growth). The Center has an outstanding activity in most of the core technologies to advance the concept of Smart Industry and Connected Industry, including world-class research in IoT, robotics and data analytics.
