2025 EURAS Conference, 18 to 20 june 2025, organized by IPTC

The 29th EURAS Annual Standardisation Conference takes place at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 18-20 June, 2025.
From June 18 to 20, 2025, the ETSIT-UPM hosted the EURAS2025 conference, co-organized by IPTC-UPM (Dr. Hugo Parada, Prof. José María del Álamo) in collaboration with UNE and the Edu4Standards project. The event brought together international experts to discuss innovation and education in the field of standardization.

Prof. Dr. Manuel Sierra, IPTC member and Dean of ETSIT-UPM, opened the conference with a warm welcome to participants. Dr. Hugo Parada presented recent findings on how standardization is being integrated into engineering education, highlighting innovative approaches developed within the Edu4Standards framework. The event fostered collaboration among academia, industry, and standardization bodies, emphasizing the need to prepare future professionals to engage with technical standards critically and effectively.
