Digital health & care 2021 #DigiFest2021

Scotland's Digital Health and Care Event DigiFest is held on December 1 and 2 and organized by The Scottish Government's Digital Health and Care Directorate and partners.

The DigiFest programme is aimed at all those who are working to deliver digitally enabled services in health, housing and care. Rubén San Segundo, IPTC vice director of the Information Processing and Telecommunications Center (IPTC), has participated in the session Digital Approaches to Active and Healthy Ageing – Shared Learning from the Fenin Ecosystem in Spain and Scotland.

He has presented the Center and the way IPTC is involved with health and care. San Segundo has mentioned different technologies developed in the IPTC, like biomedical imaging technologies, human sensing and mobile applications, big data technologies and architectures, speech and natural language processing, advanced multimedia management and HCI, platforms for independent living and integrated care and process optimization.

This session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the opportunities available in Spain for Scottish academics and businesses looking to collaborate on new projects.
