The final validation results of CODA’s adaptive automation system are now available. Deliverable D6.3 details the progression of SOL.0447 from TRL1 to TRL2 through a concept workshop, a small-scale real-time simulation, and a Human-in-the-Loop exercise. These activities confirmed the technical and operational feasibility of using controller mental-state prediction to enhance Human–AI teaming, showing improvements in workload, stress, and fatigue, as well as positive feedback from ATCOs on situational awareness, attention, and task allocation.
